A little Bowie-lite to stir into your morning coffee, darlings.

It’s not too literal a take, thankfully, but Miss Lady is clearly gearing up for her big tribute at the Grammys. Personally, we think she looks pretty damn chic. No, it’s not finished to perfection, but that’s par for the course with her and besides, one could argue that Bowie, back in his most theatrical days, had a sort of dirty, grungy, performance-art feel to it very similar to how Gaga approaches style and costume.

We’re going to be seeing a metric shit-tonne of Bowie influence in fashion and costuming over the next year and we are so here for that. We can’t wait to see what some of the big designer names come up with when they get their Bowie on. We’re hoping to see something from Lagerfeld and Marc Jacobs, at the very least, but we’d also love to see people like The Blondes or Jeremy Scott have some fun with the iconography as well.
