We’re going to go ahead and just assume she picked this dress as a joke to illustrate the ostentatious ways of the fashion world and to show us that, despite all the praise and glamour thrown at designers and other fashion movers and shakers, the emperor has no clothes.

Otherwise, we are forced to conclude that she has horrible taste.

Could everyone on the Zoolander2 poledance start holding up little signs to let us know when they’re making fun of the world of fashion and when they’re just… y’know, dressed up? Thanks ever so.
