“Carol” actress Rooney Mara attends the EE British Academy Film Awards 2016 at the Royal Opera House in London, England.
The Audreybot is back to form. Sort of.
It’s colorless. It’s got some twist on a traditionally feminine detail in those fluttery little shoulder treatments. It gives off a sense of slight deterioration. These are all right over her fashion strike zone, so to speak. And of course, the giant metallic headband takes it all to “Robot Girl” levels, where she is most comfy. In a lot of ways, it’s almost a bit too expected. The only thing that’s notable about it is how, despite it hitting all her style sweet spots, it’s rather bland overall. We don’t dislike it. We just think it’s un-memorable.
