Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan-Tatum at the premiere of Universal Pictures’ “Hail, Caesar!” at The Mosaic Hotel, Westwood, California.
We sense … a disturbance in the Fashion Force. Two souls crying out at once “I WILL BE STEPPING UP MY GAME.”
Unfortunately, only one soul managed it.
Sorry, Channing. We can tell you tried, but she just wiped the red carpet with your ass. We realize this isn’t a dress for everyone’s taste and we get that, but to us, it looks like a moment where someone considered a tough-to-wear dress and realized “You know what? This is exactly in my wheelhouse.” And it is. Jenna’s tiny, and we think her size, plus her looks and coloring, give her a leg-up (so to speak) on making a dress that looks like it was made out of a couch in the White House into something bold and dramatically chic. It’s bite-sized opulence; just enough ridiculousness to seem regally glamorous instead of over-the-top. We bet we’re going to get a lot of disagreement on this one, but to our eyes, she’s really making this very difficult dress work.
He tried. It’s a nice suit, but boy is everything askew and a little sloppy. Did he get dressed in the limo? You’ve gotta figure there wasn’t a quickie situation. Not in that dress.
