Line up for quick n’ dirty judgment, attendees and Anglophiles!
Julianne Moore in Giorgio Armani
Easily one of her best in a long time. Simple and classic is always good for her. The lip color bugs, howevs.
Emilia Clarke in Victoria Beckham
This does nothing for her; not the cut, not the fit, and not the color.
Mark Ruffalo (w/ Sunrise Coigney)
Respectable efforts all around.
Olga Kurylenko in Ralph & Russo
Seen it a thousand times.
There’s something a little “Sexy Mother Superior” about this that really works for her.
What? Shut up, that’s not weird.
Eddie Redmayne (w/ Hannah Bagshawe)
More respectable efforts all around. We sense that he’s toned down his desperation-tinged awards poledance this year. He may have realized either that there was no chance of him winning or that people were starting to smell the Hathaway on him.
Oh girl, you had us until we got to that hem.
Pretty.
Fabulous color, enviable arms, questionable choice of clutch.
He looks good but we’re not loving her dress.
Isla Fisher in Stella McCartney
Pretty enough, except for the tightness in the bust. We’re getting as tired of white dresses on the red carpet as we were of black dresses on the red carpet last year.
Dakota Johnson in Christian Dior
Dull.
