BEHOLD: The Ultimate Frankendress.

In case you’re unaware of our highly precise terminology, the Frankendress is an unholy alliance of two or more dresses stitched together like a shambling horror of a garment that mocks the very concepts of goodness and decency with its unnatural existence. Or it’s just a bunch of fabric scraps that assembled itself into a dress. Either way, it’s rarely a pretty look.

Skipping lightly past that dress, we’re struck by the necklace, which looks somewhat ridiculously mature and so incongruous with the outfit that it comes off more like a contractual obligation than a freely chosen accessory. We get that some of the young folk like to dabble in granny chic (although really, that trend seems a little dated itself) but she’s way too fresh-faced for it.

Sweetie, you really should consider dressing like the recent teenager you are. You’re looking a little Helen Mirren, which isn’t a bad thing for Helen Mirren or anyone else within 20 years of her, but really shouldn’t be a style goal for the average 21-year-old.
