“Zoolander 2” actress Olivia Munn is spotted out and about in New York City.

Since she kicked off the year by wearing something that we predict will wind up on our year-end worsts list, we thought she deserved a chance to correct the record in a chic and stylish way.

Mission accomplished:

Granted, a crop top and slit skirt over bare legs in New York in January isn’t the smartest choice to make from a practical standpoint, but as we all know, there’s little of the practical when it comes to your average celebrity sidewalk sashay. It’s about looking good in pictures, of course.

And she absolutely does look good. Great, in fact. We always rail against tricky skirts (to borrow a Nina Garcia-ism), but we don’t mind this one at all. Yes, the crop top is silly in this weather, but the pea coat is gorgeous, no?
