“The Hateful Eight” actress Jennifer Jason Leigh attends the 27th Annual Producers Guild of America Awards at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Century City, California.
On the one hand, it pains us to see such a lovely, talented and currently celebrated woman reacting to the poledance required of her like it causes her physical pain.
On the other hand, you just don’t get to see that kind of disdain from a nominee during awards season and with each pained grimace, we’re starting to love her a little more. As we said in our previous post about her, she doesn’t strike us as the big-smiley type, so it’s probably not accurate to read too much into her facial expression. But it sure is fun. She looks like she’s being photographed by feral creatures who haven’t bathed in years. Who knows? Perhaps she is.
As for the dress, we love the shape and the color, but that bust looks like dish towels to us. And while we love her disdainful facial expressions and hope they never change, she seriously needs some training as to how to set off her borrowed jewelry. She’s doing some sort of hand model thing and it looks a little silly. Just grab a clutch, girl.
