After this week’s podcast, we almost feel like we’ve said everything we have to say about her style choices. This is very much in line with a lot of what we talked about, including her take on the “broken-down doll” look and her recent obsession with very traditional elements of femininity. And yes, as per the uzh, she’s sacrificing an opportunity to look pretty or sexy or super-stylish (three qualities most young actresses are told to master) in order to look strange or humorless or distant. It’s all very much an image and the longer she does this sort of thing, the more we tend to admire her for sticking to it. She’d likely be under a lot of pressure to lighten up or at the very least sex it up, but she’s pretty defiant about sticking to these red carpet moments she likes to produce.

Anyway, pretty dress. Hate the choker, though.
