Jennifer Lawrence in Dior at the “Joy” New York Premiere

Aaaaand we’re back to not liking the hair. We can’t seem to make up our minds on this pressing issue, but it seems like that’s a cut and style that can go bad very easily without a little TLC and attention. And we’re thinking it doesn’t frame her face very well. We like the shimmery, silver-y makeup for her, though. This concludes our head-assessing portion of this post.

As for the dress it’s … well, it’s not a disaster, which seems to be the word one wants to reach for whenever the phrase “Jennifer Lawrence in Dior” pops up of late. It’s nightgown-y, but that’s kind of on trend for the moment. And at least it doesn’t look like underwear or lingerie. This is all sounding very backhanded, but that’s just because it’s practically impossible for us not to sound that way. She looks good. Not WOW-great, but we think it’s obvious she’s going for something lower key than, say, a Hunger Games red carpet.
