Oh, so that’s what Calista’s face looks like when they don’t run it through a digital wringer on Supergirl. She looks great. We have no idea why they keep using the blur tool on her face, but it’s a shame, because she’s giving pretty much the best performance on that show and keeping it interesting.

She’s giving us “Dutiful Spouse,” i.e., “I’m here supporting my (much more famous) spouse’s high-profile project.” And that’s fine and very respectful and classy of her, but we feel like she rated a better dress and pair of shoes than this. She’s Han Solo’s freaking wife and this is the first time Han Solo has walked a red carpet, like, ever. Get that woman a Chanel, stat. Not that she looks bad, or anything. And it’s not like he’s standing there in a Tom Ford tux. They both strike us as a tiny bit underdressed for the occasion, but neither of them are what we’d call red carpet pros. The look fine. Like they’re at a wedding or something. We’d have liked a bit more showmanship and formality out of them – him, especially – but we admit it doesn’t strike us as in their nature.

We feel like he’s really pushing against the limits of septuagenarian hairstyles for men.
