Style Double Shot: Jaime King in Baja East and Zimmermann

Posted on November 11, 2015

Miss Jaime is out there every day, strapping on crazy dresses and posing for pictures like the hard-working celebrity she is. We feel like we never give her enough props for it. Thankfully, she wore two highly discussable outfits in the last few days, giving us the opportunity to shine the spotlight on her.

Hit it, Miss Jaime.

THIS IS INSANE. It’s a combination of kitchen curtains, an apron, and lingerie with a Laura Ingalls theme.

WE LOVE IT.

Don’t get us wrong. It’s hideous. It’s just that it’s so damn crazy and she’s working so damn hard to sell the shit out of it that we can’t help but feel good things. We’re also a little tired and spent the day staring at women in their underwear, which tends to get us all sorts of confused and discombobulated.

Nope. We stand by it. It’s so insane that it makes us laugh. It’s not pretty or chic or fabulous, but her job was to get her picture taken and then get bitches like us to run with it. Well done, dear.

This is slightly less crazy in that it’s a recognizable garment in a style that makes some sort of sense. Basically, it’s an updated ’80s-style jumpsuit. If you put her in suede booties and teased her hair up about eight to ten inches, she’d be right on point for an ’80s-themed costume party.

It’s not that bad of a look, but we don’t like the hair and we think the pointy-toed pumps were not the way to go, although we’re hard-pressed to come up with the appropriate shoe here. Maybe a red or blue sandal? Or would that be too matchy? Because we’re not in love with the blue clutch much.

Can this outfit be fixed, darlings? Does it need to be? Discuss amongst yourselves.
