Monica Bellucci seen leaving The Greenwich Hotel in New York City.
Now that’s style. She’s not wearing anything particularly interesting but she’s got such bearing and it all suits her so well that we have no doubt she’d turn our heads if we saw her on a sidewalk somewhere. It’s the kind of simple chic certain Europeans do so well; the kind that always has T & Lo playing the Guess the Country. No, really. We’d sidle up to her to see if we could catch her hailing a cab or talking on the phone, all the time whispering our theories.
“Italian. Definitely. Look at the shades.”
“Un-unh. I’m going with Spanish. I smell Barcelona on her.”
“Maybe Lisbon? There’s something about the way she drapes her coat on her shoulders…”
“We’re overthinking this. I guarantee she’ll answer her phone in a posh English accent. Look at the hair. It’s got ‘London’ written all over it.”
And so on. Yes, we talk like this.
