Maggie Gyllenhaal continues shootings scenes for the upcoming drama series “The Deuce” in New York.
We just want to spray EVERYTHING in these pictures with Febreze.
We said in the last post about this shoot that it’s almost impossible to convey the full bloom of ’70s hookerdom without lapsing into cliche. It’s been so explored in cinema and TV, and there have been some fairly iconic film costumes that illustrate this time, place and profession fairly perfectly, that comparisons and references are bound to come up. Yes, this looks like Taxi Driver, but if you’re shooting a scene with a hooker set in Times Square in the ’70s, how can it not?
She and her co-stars look great. Not in the conventional sense; just that their costuming is so on point that you can practically smell the cigarette smoke and street garbage.
