Lady Gaga in Chanel in Hollywood

“American Horror Story: Hotel” actress and singer Lady Gaga spotted out and about in in Hollywood, California.

Miss Steffi was not going to let Miss Lupita have all the sidewalk glory to herself today. There’s been some speculation that she wore this as a show of support to the French people after the horrific events of Friday. We don’t know if that’s true, but that seems likely, given what we know about Gaga as an artist and public figure, both in the sense that she’s big on symbolism and big on using costuming or fashion to make a point or a statement. Wearing a (mostly) red, white and blue suit from the house that is more synonymous with the French identity than any other is exactly the way she’d go.

Regardless of whether it’s a symbol of anything larger, however, it’s just a damn gorgeous look all around.
