Demi Lovato visits the BBC Radio 1 studios in London, England.
Oooh, honey. Turn down the volume, the try-hard is deafening.
For the most part, we don’t mind her style. She makes more than her share of mistakes, but her choices tend to strike us as in the general neighborhood of what she should be doing, as a pop star in a competitive market. But if we had to pick one consistent mistake she makes, it’s the persistent shooting for “fierce” when “funky” or “cute” is so much better situated within her wheelhouse. We’d have kept the bag and the coat, then switched out that entirely too “Beyonce goes to the office” dress for something with a little swing and attitude. Some short, sassy, brightly patterned skirt number she could pair with tights and booties, maybe. Anything but this Cookie Lyon wannabe drag.
Girl, this isn’t your look. Box it up and send it to Bey or J Lo so they can figure out what to do with it. You need some color and movement on your body. You’re cuter and younger than this outfit.
