Cate Blanchett attends the New York premiere of “Carol” at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.
She’s a busy, poledancing lady, which means sometimes hardworking celebu-fashion bloggers are forced to post about her twice in one day.
Granted, we could’ve just let this one slip by, but…
We needed you all to see how ugly it is. And that is not a word we use to describe fashion too often. “It doesn’t suit her,” “It’s not to our tastes,” “We tend not to go for…”
To hell with that, this shit’s hiddy. The color is awful on her and the “Ooops, my skirt is falling off!” factor is just plain awful. Who wants a dress that makes them look like they’re exposing their ass to the world? Worse, who wants a dress that makes it look like you’re wearing an old-school foundation garment underneath it?
Cate, we love your risk-taking, but this look highlights the problem with taking style chances. Sometimes the risks don’t pay off and you’re the gal with your ass hanging out on the red carpet.
