Aziz Ansari attends the “Master Of None” New York premiere at AMC Loews 19th Street East 6 Theater in New York City.
We’ve said this many times before, but it bears repeating: it takes a very special man to work a velvet suit. A successful deployment of the male velvet suit just doesn’t happen often. And this may be politically incorrect to point out, but the only time a white guy ever made one work is when his name was Santa Claus.
This suits him surprisingly well. We might not have gone with the blue shirt and tie, but then again, we’d never have been able to pull off a plum velvet suit to begin with, so we suppose we should simply concede the floor to our better on the matter.
“Master of None” is getting great reviews and drops today on Netflix. We might just curl up on the couch and binge watch the whole thing tonight.
