Nope. Still don’t like it. You can take away the sleeves and all our original complaints still apply. Pattern mixing can be great, but these textiles don’t really look all that good together. We don’t even think any of them look good on their own. It strikes us now that our issue here isn’t so much that this is poor or hard-to-wear pattern-mixing. It’s that we don’t like the fabrics that are being mixed. We try to picture a dress made out of any one of these fabrics and none of them look all that great inside our heads.
We will admit that it’s improved slightly by the removal of the sleeves, mostly because it removes some of a fabric we don’t much like. Either way, this just ain’t our bag. Defend it to us if you like it.
