In the wee, early, dark hours of this very morning, two procrastinators who should have done this at least 18 hours earlier, tiptoed around their freshly fed and finally sleeping felines, put on their headphones, flipped on their microphones and spewed their coffee-infused opinions on dresses and drama. Specifically, the dresses (and other costumes) of such highly stylized shows as Empire and American Horror Story: Freakshow. Not just the FAAAAAABULOUS Cookie Lyon ensembles or Lady Gaga turbans, but the meaning and references behind the costuming and how, say, a jumpsuit made out of giant gold chains means something entirely different when you take it off a runway and put it on Taraji P. Henson in a nightclub scene.
And speaking of drama and dresses, we have OPINIONS about Tim Gunn’s meltdown on last night’s Project Runway; opinions you will have to tune in to find out about. Suffice it to say, we had a strongly negative reaction to certain aspects of the episode, which leads to short discussion about whether or not some radical format changes aren’t what the show desperately needs right now.
In other words, it’s a veritable mountain of opinions coming your way the second you press the little PLAY triangle.
Oh, and as a word of warning, when Tom starts winding up to do his Heidi impersonation, turn your speakers way down.
