“Jane the Virgin” star Gina Rodriguez makes an appearance on the “Late Show with Stephen Colbert’ in New York City. “Jane the Virgin” returns on the CW on October 12th.
We were about to type “That is a whole hell of a lot of skirt,” but then we realized this is a dress, which just forces the question of why. Why would you wear a dress made to look like badly proportioned separates? Why not just wear separates and get them in the right proportions for yourself? We’re just saying. The whole thing seems a little confusing to us. Especially since, the longer we look at it, the less it looks like a skirt and more like an afghan she got caught on the front of her dress.
Drop the waist down a few inches to her natural waist, raise the hem up to her knees, and we’d probably like it. But as is, it’s a head-scratcher.
