LOVE.

You could argue that it’s a difficult print to pull off or that the giant ruffle on the skirt detracts from the silhouette. You could also argue that it might just remind you of the Country Music Awards circa 1976 or so. You would not be wrong to argue these things, in our almost-never-humble opinions. But it’s just so nice to see Miss Cathy in something bold, eye-catching and vibrant. We get that there are restrictions and limitations as to what she can wear and blahblahblah. But the fact is, she’s conservative even by the Royal Family’s standards. That’s her choice, and given the scandals of the previous generation, we totally get why she chose Grandma Betty over Diana as her style muse. But it’s nice to know even a Duchess wants to bust a style nut every once in a while.
