Pop Style Opinionfest: The Nitty Gritty of New York Fashion Week

Darlings, for this week’s bitchy little kaffeeklatsch, we decided to give you the inside scoop on what it’s like to attend New York Fashion Week, which is currently underway. Not just the glamour of seeing A-list celebrities, but the horror of navigating the blazing hot streets of New York while willing yourself not to sweat (and failing), the attempt to watch what you eat so you can fit into your Pretty Clothes (but eating bodega potato salad in your hotel room at 11 pm), the rise (and sort-of fall) of the style blogger at Fashion Week, and how we progressed from begging to stand in the back to getting invites to sit in the front row (sometimes). All the stuff no one tells you about the grand circus of fashion and what it’s really like to navigate a massive crowd of posers, A-listers, socialites and fashion editors.

Also: everything there is to say about this week’s bra-and-panty party on Project Runway, aka Heidi’s Little Sweatshop, with visual aids provided below. It an hour-plus of fashion bitchery and gossip so grab a cup of coffee and a scone and meet us in the break room.
