“The Lazarus Effect” star Olivia Wilde attends the 2015 Global Citizen Festival to end extreme poverty by 2030 in Central Park in New York City.
We really don’t want to rag on anyone attending a festival to end extreme poverty but COME ON, OLIVIA, WORK WITH US HERE:
Look, we’re all for pairing kicks and a t-shirt with a funky skirt and calling it a day. The problem here is: that’s so very NOT what anyone would call a “funky” skirt. That is a stiff, “high-end fashion” kind of skirt and it has no place being in the vicinity of a tee and sneaks.
Olivia, you can’t swing a fake Fendi (thank you, Samantha Jones) in New York without hitting some little boutique or ripoff shop that’ll sell you a cute little maxi or peasant skirt for practically nothing. Why on earth – aside from the fact that it was most likely free – would you wear this?
Oh, wait. We just answered that didn’t we?
And the shame of it is, it’s a gorgeous skirt. AND the rest of her outfit would look really cute with the right kind of flowy maxi-skirt.
