Darlings, it’s Michael Kors. If you don’t know what that means by now, we’re not sure what to tell you, as his name has become more or less synonymous with stylish classic American sportswear for women. It’s a market he owns and a mark he hits consistently, time and again. For spring 2016, he toned down the colors considerably (as seems to be the trend for this season), rendering his usual strong and feminine pieces in stark blacks, whites, sandy beiges and reds, with intermittent spring-like pops of blue, orange and yellow. The show notes spoke of an earthy, natural glamour (check out all those trendy flat, thick-strapped sandals) which it achieves, with results that evoke sunsets over sand.
