The word that comes to mind here is “sublime.” Also: “lovely.” Two words we really need to work into our vocab rotation a bit more. Then again, when you’re writing about celebrity fashion all the live long day, opportunities to use those words don’t tend to present themselves as often as we’d like.
Queen Helen of the Island Nation of Fuckinfantasica hasn’t always been done right by her two favorite Italian queens. While she’s had a relationship with the D&G brand for years now, sometimes the house’s “Sicilian widow” aesthetic wasn’t exactly friendly to Miss Helen’s particular style needs. But this is simple, pretty and elegant. Better yet, it’s boldly graphic, which is both all too rare for the RC and all to difficult to pull off if you’re shooting for “simple, pretty and elegant.” Brava, Queen Helen. You look beautiful and you look like you feel it.
Boy, florals on black backgrounds suddenly became quite the RC mini-trend in the last week or two, no? Funny how these things happen.
