Sweetie, no. Let us take you by the hand and guide you through the concepts of trying too hard and dressing appropriately for the venue.

We will start off by commending you for a chic, high-fashion choice, dear:

Seriously, that’s a lot of look and we kind of dig that you chose to go this route, since the pressure for a 15-year-old starlet to dress like a sexy princess is fairly intense. But that’s the thing: you’re 15, hon. Not only that, you’re 15 and you’re at the Teen Choice Awards. It strikes us way too serious and mature a look to be standing in front of Candie’s and Sour Patch logos. Although granted, so many of the non-teen attendees were dressing way too young and “cool mom,” so maybe this is a reaction to that. Like the only way to look like a teenager at the Teen Choice Awards is to dress like a 30-year-old because all the 30-year-olds are wearing sparkly party dresses and blowing kisses at the cameras.

Even so, you’re way too young for such a Fashion Bitch kind of look. Box this up and ship it off to some Vogue editors, sweetie. You’re too cute for it. And besides, we’re positively drowning in sweat just looking at you. Also: that belt is heinous.
