Wes Bentley on the Set of “American Horror Story”

Wes Bentley: so pretty, you guys.

We know that’s not the most erudite thing we’ve ever written, but he’s one of those guys who tends to short circuit our brain cells a little. No matter what we’re doing, if that ad comes on? The one where he gets a hardon looking at a Lexus? Child, we have a sit and take it in.

He’s like the halfway point on the continuum that has Matt Bomer on one end and Jon Hamm at the other. And while Jon Hamm has his demons and brought them effectively to his portrayal of Don Draper, there’s something a little crazy-behind-the-eyes about Wes that sets him further apart – and sets us tingling. They may not always be the kind you want to take home to meet the parents, but there’s always going to be something at least a little hot about guys who’ve been through some things and come out the other side.

And if he had any comedy chops at all (and maybe he does; we’ve only ever seen him be SUPER INTENSE), we’d demand a live-action Sterling Archer movie out of him.
