VMAs 2015: Vanessa Hudgens in Naeem Khan

It’s a pretty dress, but we really, really hate the styling here.

First off, we can’t stand when ladystars wear their extensions like breast covers. It’s especially egregious here because she’s got so much hair resting on her boobs that the effect is … hairy boobs. And it’s just so weird from the back, as if it was being sectioned for a braid or something when she leapt out of the chair at the last second because she realized she was running late.

Second, that is an utterly obnoxious amount of jewelry. We don’t mind a gal stacking up the bling when it’s the kind of outfit that calls for it, but she’s halfway to Boho Chic with this look and all that sparkle just looks like … well, like she was in the middle of trying on every piece of jewelry on offer when she realized she was late and dashed out the door.

Basically, we can only accept this look if we believe she has terrible time management skills.

In addition, there’s all the crap in her hair and a necklace that doesn’t even remotely go with a dress like this. It’s a mostly inoffensive look all things considered, but we seem to be getting more and more pissed off at it the longer we take it in. We get that she was going for a sort of Boho Fairy Princess vibe (or at least we hope so), but the detailing really bugs.
