Darlings, this week we got a little… intense in our topic choices. For various reasons, but mostly because we had just finished answering questions for an interview about him, we got into an extended discussion about the work, philosophy and life of Alexander McQueen, with a focus on the mistaken (in our opinion) point of view that there were elements of misogyny in his work. Take a listen to our passionate defense of the man and his work. We’ve included plenty of examples of the latter below so you can follow along with our ramblings.
Also, we spent a moment batting around opinions on USA Network’s decision to pull this week’s Mr. Robot episode in response to the shootings in Virginia. It’s a decision we supported but we couldn’t not comment on the potential implications.
And finally, there’s an extended discussion of this week’s Project Runway, which was so deadly dull we feel like Lifetime should pay us for taking those 90 minutes from us. Again, with visual aids to be found below.
