If you’d asked us ahead of time to close our eyes and imagine what Mariah Carey was going to look like at her Walk of Fame ceremony, we’d have pictured this exact outfit, right down to the glittery pumps and straight up to the oversized shades, weird clapping technique and insincere little waves. Mimi’s doing the very best Mimi drag she’s capable of, and all joking aside (not to mention grumpy complaints about never stepping outside her comfort zone), she looks every inch a star here, which is exactly how she’s supposed to look.
