Elisabeth Moss attends a screening of her new movie “Queen of Earth” at the Museum Of Modern Art in New York City. In a recent interview, she said of the film, “I think it’s the thing I’m most proud of, as far as films go.”
Well…it sort of works. Theoretically. “Works” in the sense that it fits her, that the color looks good on her, and that the styling is … well. The styling doesn’t ruin it; let’s put it that way.
Are you enjoying our backhanded compliments, darlings? It’s a gift.
Anyway, the problem we have here is that this looks very dated. Very UN-fresh. To be honest, it looks exactly like something she would’ve picked up vintage. We think we like the color and the shape, but that broad sweetheart neckline is old-fashioned-looking to our eyes and it widens her up top too much. Plus we don’t like the fabric, which looks very ’80s to our eyes. We do like the shoes – and the general idea of a gold metallic sandal here – but there’s something really brassy about the color that makes them a little less appealing to us. And the jewelry situation is negligible. Not at all feeling the lip color but the pony tail is a pleasant surprise that we could get used to.
