The top half looks cute and the skirt half looks cute. It’s just that the point where the top half and the skirt half meet is just a skosh too high on you. The blousey top only heightens the short-waisted effect. It’s not a disaster, because the styling is pretty good (too sedate shoe and bag choices, but we can deal) and the hair and makeup are also pretty good. Basically, this is a “Pretty Good” all around. It’s just that we’re bitches who get paid to quibble.
This would be better with a different top, right? Here’s your assignment: suggest a better top for this look. We admit, we’re kind of stumped.
