Friday Leftovers

Posted on July 17, 2015

Darlings, here are all the celebrity looks of the week that barely managed to elicit full sentences out of us!

Hit it, also-rans!

Adam Lambert

We’re all for dandyism, but his particular brand of it tends to always look a little sloppy to us. We’d like this a lot more if it all fit him correctly.

Darren Criss

Impeccable but sexless. Loosen up a little, Hedwig.

Emma Roberts in Tanya Taylor

It’s strange to see her in such a rich color, since she tends to favor the pale and the washed-out. We’re not all that in love with the dress, but we can at least give her an “Attagirl” for not picking something that makes her look like a ghost.

Laura Linney

Sweetie, you can do much, much better than this.

And those shoes were clearly designed by SATAN.

And THOSE shoes were clearly designed by a deranged gay clown. They ruin the look.

Malin Akerman

Go tell Nana how pretty she looks tonight.

Morena Baccarin in Bibhu Mohapatra

The blocking’s a little odd, but we can’t fault her for shying away from color. If you’re going to wear a dress to Comic-Con, then this kind of dress makes a pretty good choice.

Natalie Dormer in Mary Katrantzou

This, on the other hand, strikes us as a far too stiff and formal choice. The top part is kind of cute. If the bottom half was a kicky little swing skirt, we’d be on board.

More shoes from SATAN’s Payless line.

Parker Posey

If we look at this as some sort of performance art, it’s less sad to us.

Robbie Rogers

Pee-Wee, your suit is too small and your loafers are far too big – and also the wrong kind to wear with that cut of pant. We’re not supposed to see that much of your upper foot.
