Darlings, Caitlyn Jenner’s arrival on the hardcore celebrity poledancing scene has inspired T & Lo to GO OFF on a whole bunch of things, from her seriously-in-need-of-help style choices, to how to talk about transgender celebrities without sounding ignorant or putting them on pedestals. Of course, this would be the time when Tom lost control of his mouth and accidentally used the wrong pronouns for Caitlyn not once, but a couple of times, for which we’re both terribly sorry. We were going back and forth talking about her present-day life and her life as Bruce when Tom’s tongue took off on a trip independent of his brain. Look at it this way, we provided a wonderful example of how NOT to talk about transgender celebs. Inadvertently. Like assholes.
Sorry.
In other opinionating news, we also went off on the boys of Magic Mike XXL and their seriously lacking personal style, talked a little bit more about AMC’s Humans, and even more about USA Network’s Mr. Robot, which we’ll be writing about next week. Also: We’re ready to declare this season of True Detective sucky. Come at us.
It’s a bit of a free-for-all and we’re kind of all over the place, PLUS we bicker a little, which will make you love us more. Or annoy you. Either way, darlings, enjoy our cartoon voices and obnoxiousness once again:
