Cara Delevingne in Alexander McQueen in NYC

So apparently this is the week out of the year that all the stylists collectively decided would be about boudoir-wear and that ol’ leather-lace combo. It’s weird how these things shake out, but that’s the only explanation we can come up with as to why all the lady stars are dressed for a night of seduction and/or slumber. There must have be like a quarterly or bi-annual summit meeting when all the leading stylists decide what micro-trends they’re going to push in the coming quarters.

Granted, this doesn’t quite look like it’s either sex or sleep-ready, but it sure does give off that boudoir vibe that all the ladystars can’t seem to get enough of lately:

We actually don’t mind the look at all. In fact, it’s pretty damn fierce. It’s a total FMO (for models only), though. And we can’t imagine how uncomfortable a leather bra must be in NYC in July, but damn if she doesn’t know how to turn heads.
