We’re sorry to say we don’t love this as much as we feel we should. You say the phrase “Rihanna in a gold Giorgio Armani power-bitch suit with no shirt” and there’s a certain expectation that we’ll queen out and give all kinds of finger snaps and neck rolls of approval. And while we can’t say she looks bad exactly …

We don’t know… it’s not really setting us on fire. Possibly because there’s just not enough contrast with her own coloring. If she wants to wear a metallic, she should stay away from the bronzey ones, because she’s fairly bronzey on her own. Stick to the silvers, girl. Also, this jacket is really meant to be worn with a fuller skirt. It flares out over an imaginary skirt that she’s not currently wearing and gives her a hippy quality she doesn’t have.

We wish she’d worn the look book version, including the hat. That would have guaranteed some “YAAAAAS MAMA”s out of us, rather than the lukewarm reaction we’re feeling. Sorry, hon. It’s just not working for us.
