Olivia Wilde in The Reformation at “The Wolfpack” Premiere

Oh, celebrities. You never fail to amuse and amaze us with your tendency to go to extremes. If you’re not showing up on red carpets looking like you’re posing for your Christmas card in June, you’re showing up on them looking like you literally just got out of your pool mere seconds before.

Although those are definitely not appropriate poolside shoes; mainly because they’re so eye-searingly hideous. Girl, what is happening here? Everything looks cheap and only appropriate for wearing on one’s own property. When one is assured not to have any company.

Here’s a bit of advice: If the lookbook requires the use of a Silly Walk and a wind machine to make the dress look good, it’s probably not going to look good when you’re doing normal-person things like standing still, far away from wind machines.

Those shoes really hurt our feelings.
