But it suits her so damn well and it’s got a highly appropriate sci-fi kinda feel for it. Excellent genre-dressing, which is something we talked about in our <whore>book</whore>; the idea that a ladystar should dress according to whatever project she’s promoting at the moment. If it’s a rom-com, then it’s all pretty and romantic little aspirational dresses in the Keira Knightley mode. If it’s an Oscar-bait melodrama, then it’s couture gowns and Serious Fashion at every turn. But if it’s a sci-fi, action or superhero flick, then she gets to have all kinds of fun choosing weird and/or kickass looks.

Would we recommend this dress for anyone else? Not really. It’s clearly not easy to pull off. Only Amazonian women need apply, we’re thinking. Sure, that bodice isn’t exactly flattering, but the overall look is so perfect for her at this moment in her career.
