Not gonna lie, you kittens. This was a disappointing year for the CFDAs red carpet. We fear we may have permanently broken the red carpet with our bitchery, forcing all the celebs and their stylists into making boring, tasteful choices. It’s all our fault. And the Fug Girls. And Joan Rivers.
But mostly the Fug Girls, if you ask us.
Anyway, come on out for some judgment, tasteful ones. We’ll try and make it as painful as possible.
Nailed it. Gorgeous look and color on her. Not a hundred percent in love with that neckline.
It basically looks like an entire section of Pier 1, but then again, a lot of Badgley Mischka can be described that way. We kind of enjoy the tacky regalness of it all.
We are so hating those shoes right now but we’ll give the girl credit: this is pretty chic.
Betcha she and Juliette Lewis got into a fight in the ladies room.

We’re probably a little crazy for this, but we think we love it. It’s weird but elegant at the same time.
Burn the shoes. BURN THE SHOES.
Sweetie, this isn’t your second cousin’s wedding. Step it up, hmm?
We hate sheer skirts, but sheer skirts that remind us of beveled glass? That’s something to consider. We think we love this look, just for being so eye-catching. She looks like an art deco installation of some sort. That is so what you want people to say about you at an event like this.
It’s not a bad look at all, but we’re surprised by how staid and low-key it is, especially since she could use a little profile-raising right around now.
She’s lost it. Someone check her meds.
Love it. Darkly dramatic and totally eye-catching. Someone finally made an interesting black dress. We thought the fashion world had forgotten how.
