Darlings, as per usual with the podcast, we had THINGS TO SAY about this week’s episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race. Neither of us agreed with Ru’s choice this week, but Lorenzo was REALLY pissed.
In other news, we also had an extended discussion on the Cannes red carpet and how one shouldn’t apply so-called “real world” concerns to the kinds of style choices made there. But don’t fret, darlings! Because we also talk a little bit about how to interpret things like the red carpet and runway to your own personal style, even if you’re not model-sized or particularly up on the trends of the moment.
And finally, we interview our good friend Aliza Licht, who’s known among the twitterset and in the fashion world as “DKNY PR GIRL.”
Witty, savvy, and sharp as a tack, she’s taken her years and expertise as a fashion insider and social media rockstar and written a truly fabulous book loaded with advice on how to grab the world by the neck and make it do what you want for you. Just look at that book title: “LEAVE YOUR MARK: Land Your Dream Job. Kill It In Your Career. Rock Social Media.” Is that a title or what? Listen to the lady. She really knows her stuff.
No, really. Go and listen. Right now.
