We’re torn, kittens.
Madonna attends the “China: Through The Looking Glass” Costume Institute Benefit Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City in a custom Moschino dress and matching cape that reads “Rebel Heart, ” the title of her new album.
We just yelled at Katy for wearing some pretty tacky Moschino. And while we’d call this a much more toned-down Moschino than what Miss Perry had going on, we’re still looking at someone who had the title of her most recent album spray painted onto her custom gown. It’s very difficult not seeing that as the ultimate in tacky try-hard.
But then we remember this was an event in which roughly a quarter of the women felt like exposing their ass cracks, in which case this all comes across downright demure. In addition, it actually does look good on her. We’re happy to see her un-tarted-up in a lot of faux S&M gear.
On the other, other hand, those baby heads look tortured and her recently filled face has that eerie “floating 3 inches in front of her head” effect to it.
