This kind of looks like a marked-down tablecloth you’d get a discount housewares store.
Dolce&Gabbana Tie-Shoulder Foulard-Print Dress
But hey, it’s colorful and bold and seasonally appropriate, at least. You can’t say that about every dress we’ve seen today. We don’t much love the print, but we could live with it if some different style choices had been made. We figure she or her people assumed such a bold print required low key styling – and normally we’d agree with that – but we tend to think you need to emphasize the fun of this dress in order to make it work. You have to be in on the joke, so to speak. We’d have told her to raise the hem to her knees, find a fun pair of brightly colored wedges or sandals, maybe with a ballet-style lace-up ankle strap, blow out the hair more, and park a pair of obnoxious D&G shades on top of her head as a headband, like she just dashed in from a pool party.
If you’re gonna go there, then really GO THERE, we say.
