Cannes 2015: Rooney Mara in Alexander McQueen and Rochas

Posted on May 18, 2015

The Audreybot is feeling very pure all of a sudden. Considering we’re already sick of LBDs on Cannes red carpets,

Those are some serious Audreybrows. She’s taken our nickname for her seriously, it would seem.

Have to admit, this is really working for us. Love the detailing here, like the reversed oversized belt and the split cuffs. If you’re going to wear a white dress, it should at least be an interesting dress to look at, right? The makeup looks great and we love the hair, but the subdued lip isn’t really singing for us.

But wait! There’s even MORE purity!

Enh. Pretty, obviously. We’d never claim otherwise. But it’s both fussy (which never works for her) and kind of blandly bridal. If she’s going to wear white, she needs to go romantic-edgy a little.
