Britt Robertson in Antonio Berardi at the “Tomorrowland” Tokyo Premiere

Posted on May 26, 2015

We don’t mean to make this “Pick on Amal Clooney” Day, but she recently wore a very similar dress from Antonio Berardi, which we didn’t much like on her, summing it up with:

“[T]he whole look comes off like a Disney teen star ensemble.”

Ahem:

Although, to be fair, she’s not a teenager. Still, unlike when Amal tried to wear a similar dress, this one suits her perfectly. It’s not without its issues, though. For one, it’s a little over-designed. For another, it looks a little tight across the bust. And the hair comes off a little too serious for such a frivolous, fun dress. It calls for zhuzhing. But the shoes are nice, the color looks great on her, the style suits, and she just looks cute overall. Not perfect, but not bad either.

That’s us, making the tough calls no one else will. Trailblazers of opinionating.
