Boy, these Marvel movie costumes are really starting to look alike.

We get that he’s meant to be inspired by Captain America (and probably set to take over for him, if they follow the current comics storyline). The Falcon makes a poor example of this, we admit, but we’ve been stewing over this for a while and we’ve reached peak “leather armor” as the standard for superhero outfits. When Charlie Cox went from looking both badass and hot to DEATH for 12 episodes of Daredevil in a simple and functional costume only to unveil a disappointingly standard Marvel costume in the season finale, that cemented something for us. After a while, the costumes start looking a little generic. Sure, it makes sense for the Falcon to emulate Captain America in his costume, but does it make any sense that it’s barely distinguishable from Ant-Man’s?

But yes, he looks hot. Sorry, Anthony. We didn’t mean to neglect you like that.
