Style Double Shot: Taylor Swift in Miss Patina and Reem Acra

Let’s check in on Miss Tay when she’s off the clock and on the clock.

Oh, but she’s never really off the clock, is she? Consider this little bit of Peggy Olson drag:

That’s a “TAKE MY PICTURE” sidewalk getup if ever we saw one. But we can’t hate because it’s all very cute and very much in her wheelhouse. We can, however, smirk over the fact that her accessories are about as mismatched as they always are with her. Not that we would expect the bag and shoes to match, but they should at least look like they go together somehow.

Loving the low-heeled pumps. That’s a trend we’d like to see come back after a full decade of stripper heels being the standard.

Now let’s take a look at Miss Tay on the clock:

It’s a great color, but we don’t really love this dress. It looks like a table runner worn over a tube top.

And here’s a little unasked-for bit of advice, ladies. When you’re wearing a long skirt with a slit, it’s infinitely sexier to get glimpses and flashes of your leg as you walk, rather than simply pulling the slit apart like you’re opening some drapes. That just looks silly to us.
