Oof. Honey, this is not how you style a dress made out of a pillowcase. Downmarket clothing requires far less pumped-up styling than this:

It’s a cute shift made out of cheap fabric. You’d have been better off with a clean face, a ponytail, and some flat sandals. As it is, it just looks like you’re trying too hard to make something cheap and semi-disposable look high end. And when you do that, you almost always wind up making it look even cheaper. Ellie Kemper had the right idea, even though we had some quibbles with the styling. This is not the time for big hair and pink pumps, dear. That’s so not Lilly.
