Talk about your study in contrasts. He’s plucked and ‘scaped and exfoliated and moisturized to Prince Charming levels of perfection and she looks like her dress is slowly being eaten by little furry creatures.
Richard Madden and Jenna Coleman attend the UK premiere of “Cinderella” in London. Richard Madden is wearing a Thom Sweeney ensemble. Jenna Coleman is wearing a Simone Rocha asymmetric feather-trimmed satin dress.
We kinda blew our wad on that opening sentence because we’re not sure what else we have left to say now. He looks fantastic but he’s skirting right up to the line of being too manscaped and moisturized to be hot. There comes a stage in the male grooming process where you go from Cary Grant to Liberace if you don’t pull back on the reins.
Also, the vest is a skosh too tight and surprisingly, his shoes could’ve used a buff n’ shine. A little less work on the beard and brow-scaping and a little more attention paid to the sartorial details next time, please.
We don’t even know how someone puts that dress on and doesn’t immediately take it off, let alone how they go out in public and pose for pictures wearing it. Not only is the design weird and ugly, but the fit is terribly unflattering. Girl, when you’re standing in front of a big sign that says “CINDERELLA” and you’re posing next to Prince Charming, you need to do better than this. Even if he does kind of look like Liberace right now.
