More hats and tweediness from the set of the final season of Downton Abbey:
“Downton Abbey” cast members spotted filming scenes for the upcoming sixth series of the hit show in the Wiltshire village of Lacock, UK. Streets in the pretty Wiltshire village were set up as a market place for the scenes which took place over two days.
It’s virtually impossible to see these three people as related to each other. We never think about the lack of resemblance during the show, but we always notice it in pictures. We think it was more noticeable when Matthew and Sybil were alive, because they each looked like they could be related to Robert or Cora.
It’s a good thing we work from home, because we shouted “DICKIE MERTON! DICKIE MERTON!” when we caught sight of Isobel’s former fiance. Oh please let him win her back. It’s honestly the only outcome we care about before the show ends. That, and Edith running the family down with her car.
